     GARDENING TIPS

There are multiple uses for NATURE’S BIG BUD LIQUID WORM CASTINGS (NBBLWC). May we offer a few which may help you in your gardening efforts and ensure you get the most from our excellent product:

SEEDS: Before planting seeds, soak them in 1 oz. of our NBBLWC concentrated solution for 24 hours prior to planting. This will dramatically decrease the germination period. Seeds will emerge much faster than you expected and develop healthier, more robust root systems!

TRANSPLANTING: When transplanting plants from a nursery, soak the root ball in the container in our NBBLWC (diluted) solution for 15 minutes prior to planting. This will help to gently loosen the roots especially if the plant is root bound. And, you will have provided the plant with a nutritional boost to assist it in getting established more rapidly in its new environment as well as reduced transplant shock. Before transplanting, soak the transplanting hole with the remaining diluted NBBLWC solution so the roots will more quickly establish themselves and to reduce stress on the plant. Guaranteed to get plants off to a fast and vigorous start.

DILUTING: If you choose to dilute our product, let tap water sit in a container for up to 8 hours (in the sun if possible) in order to let the chemicals in it escape (outgas). Then you can add a portion of our product to the aged tap water and use it in diluted form. This will ensure you get the maximum benefit from NBBLWC and your plants will, too! The recommend dilution rate is 4:1: that is 4 gallons of aged tap water to 1 gallon of NBBLWC. The same applies to quart proportions. Water your plants with this solution every week to 10 days depending on their need.

ROSES: NBBLWC are especially effective when used on roses. Simply spray the leaves once a week with a generous wetting and/or dilute the product and water the rose bush with about 1-2 gallons of the mixture once a week. This will produce dense, lush green foliage, numerous buds, and beautiful blossoms. Insects will be discouraged from feeding on the leaves and buds. Mildew and mold as well as rust will be discouraged from establishing itself on the rose bush. Do not spray in the heat of the day; before 10 am or after 3 pm is best. Results will be seen in days.

HYDROPONICS GROWING/GARDENING: NBBLWC work exceptionally well in hydroponics applications. Plants feed on the multiple nutrients of the castings, absorb the minerals of our natural mountain spring water, and are invigorated by the natural steroids of the yucca extract. The yucca extract is a ‘wetting’ agent which means that plants absorb the solution faster and more effectively. The combination of all this promotes a symbiotic effect. Also, our all-natural product will not burn even the most delicate plants. Foliage spraying also is a great way to feed hydroponics plants.

FOLIAR FEEDING: Feeding your plants by spraying a solution of NBBLWC directly on the leaves (foliage) is a much more effective way to ensure the plant quickly absorbs the nutrients and minerals contained in our product which hosts a multitude of essential elements your plants need for healthy growth and development. Leaves have pores (stomata) which allow for the solution to be absorbed and redirected to all parts of the plant more quickly and efficiently than soil/root feeding. Our production process (“brewing”) involves adding natural yucca extract which, among other benefits, assists in the absorption since yucca is a wetting agent (surfactant) which essentially makes water ‘wetter’. Simply fill a hose end sprayer or any spray device with our NBBLWC and generously spray on all the leaves taking care to lift them and apply to the undersides. Do this in the early part of the day or late afternoon avoiding the brightest sun of the day. It is recommended that you first wash the plant down with plain water to remove the accumulated dust and dirt on the leaves. Let them dry for a bit and then use the NBBLWC solution preferably full strength. Do this once a week or so. Our 100% organic product is a gentle blend and will not burn the leaves of even the most sensitive plants. The results will be apparent in days.

FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS: Bought your ‘girl’ some nice flowers? Fill the vase w diluted (1:10) NBBLWC and keep them fresher longer as they ‘feed’ on the nutrients and are invigorated by the natural yucca in the NBBLWC solution. You’ll be thrilled w the results!

MERRY CHRISTMAS GARDENING: We have all had the natural Christmas tree drying out problem. However, NBBLWC can assist you in preventing this. Simply add diluted NBBLWC ‘tea’ to the base container of your tree; keep it replenished and your tree will ‘feed’ on it the whole season. This will assist in preventing premature drying out of the natural tree and keep it greener and fresher! Spray those natural wreaths on your front door to keep them fresh and green. Poinsettias will love being watered and having their leaves sprayed w diluted NBBLWC. Keeps them fresh and vibrant longer!

As you can see, there are any number of ways to use NATURE’S BIG BUD LIQUID WORM CASTINGS, PREMIUM 100% ORGANIC LIQUID PLANT FOOD to enhance your organic gardening experience. If you have any others, we would appreciate your sending them to us via email.
